Oxford University Society Questions

What is the University’s alumni society, the Oxford University Society?

The Oxford University Society was established in 2006 as the alumni association for the University of Oxford. Its mission is to foster alumni interest and goodwill in University affairs by encouraging intellectual and emotional ties between members and their University.

The Society is supported by the University of Oxford Alumni Office, which provides a range of benefits and services for alumni members and fosters interaction between alumni and current/prospective students.

Full membership of the Society is open to all alumni whom matriculated at the University and is automatic upon degree completion. Associate membership is also available upon registration. Read more details about membership below.

How do I gain membership into the Oxford University Society?

There are two levels of membership of the Oxford University Society – full and associate. Full membership is given to matriculated undergraduate and post-graduate students upon completion of their degree (and awarded automatically upon expiry of the University card). Current students still studying are ineligible to join.

Associate membership is available to participants who have completed an Open Programme Executive Education course of consecutive 4 days or more at the Saïd Business School. Associate membership will be considered upon application of your Oxford Alumni Card.
